Marine Mechanic Needed

Marine Mechanic Needed.  Serves as a critical team member on the M/V Tenn-Tom (pushboat/crane barge operations) on the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway (based out of Columbus MS).  Normal work schedule is 4 ten-hour days (Mon-Thurs) on a live-aboard basis (some routine overtime plus overtime on major repair or lock closure projects).  Responsible for care, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on the pushboat (engine room/mains, generators, auxiliary equipment, etc.) and new custom spud barge with integrated electrical and hydraulic systems, shop, and accommodations carrying a 300ton Liebherr lattice boom duty cycle crane.   R&D Maintenance Services, Inc. is the Operations and Maintenance contractor for the waterway and operates the M/V Tenn-Tom in support of waterway operations for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  R&D provides competitive pay and an excellent benefit package including paid vacation, all federal holidays, company paid medical, company paid 401k contribution, and more.  Please send your resume to RDresumes@rdmaintenance.com or call our Columbus Project Office at 662-328-0129 and ask for the Project Manager regarding the Marine Mechanic position.
