New Models Added To Kohler Tier 3 Generator Lineup
Kohler, a company specializing in power systems, has expanded its lineup of marine generators with the addition of one- and three-phase models featuring Kohler Tier 3 diesel engines.
In addition to the rugged diesel engines, which were designed to stand up to the demands of workboat applications, the new 32EKOZD and 40EKOZD generators also integrate the company’s Decision-Maker 3500 controller (DEC3500). The DEC3500 provides advanced control, systems monitoring and systems diagnostics for optimum performance and compatibility.
“These new generators help round out our expanding lineup of Tier 3 models powered by Kohler diesel engines,” said Patrick Kline, regional manager for Kohler marine generators. “Smaller units within this family—launched a couple of years ago—have proven to be popular among workboat builders and operators alike. So, we anticipate similar response to these larger models, which offer the same performance-enhancing features and overall reliability. Our comprehensive Tier 3 marine generator lineup now ranges from 6 kw. all the way up to 200 kw.”
