Corps Sets Meetings On Missouri River Ops

Twice a year, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Missouri River Basin Water Management Division hosts public meetings to discuss the Missouri River Mainstem System, upper basin runoff, and reservoir operations. Presenters include staff from the National Weather Service and the Missouri River Water Management Division.

The fall public meetings are scheduled for October 22–25 across the Missouri River Basin, as follows (all times local):

• October 22, 11 a.m.—Fort Peck, Mont.,
Fort Peck Interpretative Center, Lower Yellowstone Road;

• October 22, 6 p.m.—Bismarck, N.D.,
Bismarck State College, National Energy Center of Excellence (NECE), Bldg. 15, Room 304, 1200 Schafer St.;

• October 23, 10 a.m.—Fort Pierre, S.D., Casey Tibbs Conference Center, 210 Verendrye Drive;

• October 23, 4 p.m.—Sioux City, Iowa, Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Betty Strong Encounter Center, 900 Larsen Park Road;

• October 24, 11 a.m.—Smithville, Mo., Paradise Point Golf Course, 18212 Golf Course Road;

• October 24, 4 p.m.—Nebraska City, Neb.,
Lied Lodge & Conference Center at Arbor Day Farm, 2700 Sylvan Road; and

• October 25, 1 p.m.—Jefferson City, Mo., Capital Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty St.
