Obituary Notice: Robert Barnard Sr.

Robert Barnard Sr., 66, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died at his home November 16. He graduated from Fishburne Military School in 1972 and had a football scholarship to University of Delaware, but instead of attending college, he opted to serve in the U.S. Army as a diver and underwater welder. After serving in the Army, he worked for the Corps of Engineers as a seaman on towboats, and Holcim Cement Plant, from which he ultimately retired.
