Towing Vessels Bound For West Coast

The cargo ship Daisy heads downriver on the Lower Mississippi River January 21, carrying yachts, recreational vessels and three Maritime Partners-owned towing vessels. The mvs. Paula M. Sperry, Brooks M. Hamilton and Madeline B. Hamilton were hoisted onto the deck of the Daisy within the calm waters of the Port of Saint Bernard’s Chalmette Slip, the only slack water slip on the lower river. The Maritime Partners vessels will pass through the Panama Canal aboard the Daisy, bound for the West Coast where they will serve in the fleet of Centerline Logistics. Look for an article on the vessels and respective companies in a future issue of The Waterways Journal.
