Orion Group Names Interim CEO

Orion Group Holdings, Houston, announced April 7 that Austin Shanfelter, chairman of the board of directors, has been named interim CEO after Mark Stauffer stepped down as president, CEO and board member.

Stauffer will serve as an advisor to the company, Orion said in the announcement.

Richard Daerr Jr., a current board member, has been appointed lead independent director and will not retire at the company’s 2022 annual meeting of stockholders as previously announced.

Orion said it has retained a leading executive search firm and will initiate a search to identify a permanent CEO.
