Obituary: Christopher Allen

Christopher Allen, responsible for the construction of Gateway Terminals in St. Louis, Mo., died suddenly August 24 of complications from hip replacement surgery. Retired, he was 76. He had been executive vice president of Eagle Marine Industries, which he joined in 2007 after a successful career with CenterPoint Energy, a natural gas distributor in Houston, Texas. Gateway Terminals was a joint venture between SCF (a division of Seacor) and Eagle Marine Industries to develop an all petroleum products terminal facility in Sauget, Ill.
