HR Wallingford Dredge Course Sells Out

United Kingdom-based HR Wallingford has sold out its upcoming two-day dredging course. The course is designed to provide an introduction to dredging for those who are responsible for commissioning and managing dredging contractors and those who regulate dredging. It will give an overview of the environmental aspects of dredging, as well as the latest technology and equipment that apply to dredging and the management of dredged material.

Specifically, the information shared will include current terminology, types of dredges, design of dredging works, environmental aspects, licensing and consents, contract types, project implementation and management and avoidance of common disputes.

At the end of the course participants will understand how to plan, manage and monitor dredging, how dredging is undertaken and how it can impact the environment, and standard types of dredging contracts.

HR Wallingford, an independent civil engineering and environmental hydraulics company, regularly holds training courses, seminar and conferences on the management of water and the water environment.
