DSC to Host Annual Dredging Class in New Orleans

DSC Dredge is holding its annual Dreducation™ Class on March 27 at the Omni Royal Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. Once a year, industry expert Charles Johnson conducts this dredge operators training course designed to educate and enable industry newcomers on how to become more productive and enable them to work more efficiently.

This training is designed to be industry specific, but not brand specific, and will cover the fundamentals of dredging with topics such as: the workings of centrifugal pumps; how to read a theoretical pump curve; dredge pump efficiency; types of excavators; pipeline size, velocity, friction and production; and reading gauges.
