IADC Announces Dredging Seminar in Mumbai

The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) is offering a special three-day international seminar on dredging and reclamation in Mumbai, India, November 26 to 28 at the Radisson Mumbai Andheri MIDC hotel.

The seminar is intended for all stakeholders in the field of dredging: government and port authorities, offshore companies and dredging contractors. The in-depth lectures are given by dredging experts from IADC member companies. The subjects covered include:

  • the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports
  • project development: from preparation to realization
  • descriptions of types of dredging equipment
  • costing of projects
  • site and soil investigations
  • types of dredging projects
  • environmental aspects of dredging

A mid-week dinner will be provided where participants, lecturers and other dredging employees can interact, network and discuss the hands-on world of dredging. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of the completion of the coursework. Full attendance is required for attaining the Certificate of Achievement.

Since 1993, IADC has regularly provided a week-long seminar for professionals in dredging-related industries. These intensive courses have been successfully presented in The Netherlands, Dubai, Argentina, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Brazil.
