Living Lands & Waters To Host Barge Party Fundraiser June 16

Living Lands & Waters, the non-profit environmental and river cleanup organization serving hundreds of miles of rivers, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a barge party June 16 in the Quad Cities.

The party will include a fish fry and shrimp boil, cash bar, wine pull, silent auction, art auction, barge tours and live music by Aaron Kamm and The One Drops.

It will take place from 5:30-9 p.m. June 16 at Schwiebert Riverfront Park, First Avenue, Rock Island, Ill.

The party is Living Lands & Waters’ largest annual event, with more than 900 normally in attendance. It brings together the organization’s crew, sponsors and supporters for its only fundraiser of the year.
