Conrad Awarded Barge Contract

Morgan City, La.-based Conrad Shipyard has been awarded a $45.8 million firm-fixed-price contract for a new barge for the Philadelphia Engineer District. Construction of the barge will involve the integration of an existing government-furnished crane. Work will take place in Morgan City with an estimated completion date of March 25, 2028. Fiscal 2025 revolving funds were obligated at the time of the award.

Cycle Construction Wins
$22.1 Million Contract

Kenner, La.-based Cycle Construction Company was awarded a $22.1 million firm-fixed-price contract for Calcasieu River and Pass Dredged Material Management Plan CDF-D Degrading. The New Orleans Engineer District, the contracting entity, received three bids via the internet. Work locations and funding will be identified with each order, with an estimated completion date in late 2027.
