Building on Legacy, WJ Expands Access In 140th Volume

As The Waterways Journal begins its 140th volume, we are updating our subscription offerings with a clear purpose — to add value for the readers who make independent coverage of the inland and intracoastal waterways possible. Subscribers will continue to receive the weekly print edition, along with expanded access to modern tools, including IRR Online, e-newsletters, digital editions, select video and audio content and, new in 2026, corporate subscription options with bulk print delivery. At the same time, WJ will launch a “Helping Spread the Word” initiative, offering select pro-industry digital content publicly while protecting the value of paid subscriptions. The goal is simple: keep the history of the industry alive, strengthen the subscriber-led community that has supported WJ for 140 years and continue serving readers with trusted coverage for the years ahead. Explore our new subscription options and find the plan that fits you at https://www.waterwaysjournal.net/subscribe/.
