Obituary Notice: John “Wayne” Meunier
John “Wayne” Meunier passed away April 26 at Mercy Health Hospice in Paducah, Ky.

He retired as the director of the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority.
An avid outdoorsman, Meunier enjoyed camping, fishing and horseback riding and attending auctions.
“Wayne’s compassion for others shone brightly through his years of volunteer work with Cassidy’s Cause, Camp Robin, Buckmaster’s and Goose Lodge—the handicapped hunting lodge he founded in the mid-1990s,” his official obituary stated.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Meunier, and his parents, John Orlando and Estelle Anderson Meunier.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather McKinney, and son-in-law Jamie McKinney of Kevil, Ky.; his grandchildren, Brandon McKinney of Paducah, Ky., and Breckyn McKinney of Kevil, Ky.; and his friends Rita and Joe Crabtree of Kevil, Ky., Ron and Denise Chenoweth of Kevil, Ky., and Frank Dennis of Jennings, La.
