Storybook Tells About Lock Through Cartoon Figure  Larry the Lock is a children’s book written and illustrated by Ashley Daugherty to illustrate the work locks perform on the river within the district. Daugherty has always had a love for art and reading. While pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design, she had the chance to work as an intern at the Pittsburgh Engineer District.
