Eymard Delivers American Pride To ARTCO

Eymard Marine Construction & Repair, Harvey, La., has delivered the mv. American Pride to American River Transportation Company, St. Louis, Mo. The new boat is the ninth in a series of 11 that the shipyard is building for ARTCO. It is also the second live-aboard vessel, the others all being lunch-bucket boats.

The American Pride measures 64.5 feet long by 28 feet wide, and has 2,000 hp. from twin Cummins QSK38-M1 Tier 3 main engines. Reduction is Twin Disc, 7:1. The vessel was delivered April 4.

It will serve the Clinton, Iowa, area at Upper Mississippi Miles 512.5 and 517, where ARTCO maintains fleets.
