Royal IHC Nominated for Dutch Maritime Award
On November 12, the winners of the five Dutch Maritime Awards will be announced during the Maritime Awards Gala in Amsterdam. The event attended by close to 900 maritime professionals is the highlight of the Dutch Maritime Week held November 10 to 17.
Royal IHC is nominated for the Maritime KNVTS Schip van het Jaar Award for its 7,950 cubic meter (10,398 cubic yard) trailing suction hopper dredge Scheldt River.
The Awards Gala is organised each year by the Stichting Maritime Awards Gala foundation – representing Netherlands Maritime Technology, Royal Association of Netherlands Shipowners (KVNR), Royal Netherlands Society for Marine Technology (KNVTS), Royal Netherlands, Maritime by Holland and the National Institute for Shipping and Shipbuilding (NISS) The gala’s gold sponsors are Anker Crew Insurance, Damen Shipyards Group, Europort, Royal IHC, Marstrat BV, NNPC  and Wärtsilä Netherlands.
