Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Extends Deadline for Restoration RSIQ

The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) is extending the deadline for its Request for Statement of Interest and Qualifications (RSIQ) for an Outcome Based Performance Contracting project. The addendum extends the deadline to September 26.

Outcome-Based Performance Contracting uses a single contract to finance, design, construct, monitor and maintain a project over a set length of time. Payment is based on the contractor meeting all performance milestones. This type of contracting was approved by the CPRA board to be used for coastal marsh and ridge restoration projects within the Barataria Basin.

CPRA is taking this action in response to feedback from stakeholders in the emerging outcome-based performance contracting market. This project delivery method represents a significant investment for project teams so CPRA is seeking submittals with significant involvement from the financial private sector.

All addendums and official responses to all questions submitted by potential Proposers have been issued without attribution and are posted here.
