Eagle Boat Store

I just read the article (Old Boat column on Eagle Boat Store, WJ June 8, 2020). Please tell Keith Norrington thank you for me. He did a great job.

Roy Barkhau’s description of the interior of the store at 805 North Wharf Street is exactly how I remember it with my grandfather sitting at his roll-top desk. Dick and I gave the desk to the Alton River Museum. It was huge … as was my grandfather in both size and presence.
