Nichols Boat Company, Greenville, Miss., currently has under construction a 120- by 34- by 11-foot, twin-screw towboat designed by Farrell & Norton Naval Architects. The retractable-pilothouse boat will have 3,400 hp. from Caterpillar 3512 Tier 4 engines and Reintjes gears.
