CD Terminal, MacroSource Enter Into Agreement

CD Terminal, an Enstructure company, recently entered into a long-term storage and handling agreement at its newly acquired bulk terminal in Savage, Minn., with Savannah, Ga.-based MacroSource LLC, an industry leader in wholesale distribution for dry bulk and liquid fertilizers.

CD Terminal Savage was launched December 1, 2022, and it is an extension of Enstructure’s CD Terminal marine terminal network. The 22-acre facility is located at Mile 13 on the Minnesota River. It features six total loadouts, including four high-speed, and three scales to accompany 75,000 tons of inside bulk storage and 100,000 tons of outside bulk storage. Additionally, the facility has rail access for 30 cars.

With more than 350 employees worldwide, MacroSource LLC is the new name of the multinational legacy company of Gavilon Fertilizer LLC and its subsidiaries in China, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay and South Africa.  MacroSource manages approximately 7 million tons of dry and liquid fertilizers through more than 70 terminals across the United States and its international distribution companies.
