Bellaire Adds New Material Handler

Bellaire Harbor Service has purchased a new Sennebogen 870 material handler as part of its continuing program to upgrade equipment.

Over the past couple of years, Bellaire has replaced some older, smaller machines with new material handlers, said Bob Harrison, president/CEO of the service, based in Bellaire, Ohio. The new material handler came online over the summer.

The material handler is the second Sennebogen 870 the company has bought, and it is already hard at work both unloading barges and, as needed, dredging for customers. It is mounted on a 50-by-150-foot crane barge.

Bellaire also has two Liebherr 974 material handlers.
