Loadstar recaps a successful year as Louisiana’s first Certified Evergreen organization

The Louisiana-based product handling and site logistics company marks a milestone year with strategic growth and an investment in people.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Dec. 01, 2025) – Louisiana-based product handling and site logistics company, Loadstar, closed out 2025 with a series of notable achievements that reflect the company’s commitment to both operational excellence and a long-term vision for the future. In a year marked by significant growth, Loadstar recorded zero injuries and zero major incidents across all its operations – underscoring a strong culture of safety and accountability that continues to define its performance.

In a year marked by fluctuating conditions across the inland marine sector, Loadstar maintained steady and healthy growth. In June 2025, Loadstar completed the acquisition of Atlas Marine, broadening its customer base and operational footprint. The acquisition combined two companies with complementary expertise and a shared commitment to safety, customer service, and operational performance. The integration of Atlas Marine’s operations has enhanced Loadstar’s ability to serve customers along the Gulf Coast and inland waterways while preserving the culture and values that have guided both organizations.

Beyond its operational growth, Loadstar continued to focus on developing its people. Through its Rising Stars and Emerging Leaders programs, the company has made leadership development a core part of its long-term strategy. Participants in the programs receive mentorship, training, and opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities, preparing them for future leadership roles within the organization.

Perhaps the most defining milestone of the year came when Loadstar became Louisiana’s first Certified Evergreen company through the Tugboat Institute. This certification — part of a national movement of privately held, purpose-driven businesses — signifies Loadstar’s commitment to remain privately held, purpose-driven, and people-focused for the next century.

“The Evergreen certification formalizes a philosophy that has guided Loadstar since its founding,” said Loadstar founder and CEO Brian Haymond. “It is a focus on stability, stewardship, and sustainable growth. The commitment aligns naturally with the traditions of the inland waterways, where reliability and long-term relationships are fundamental to success.”

Operationally, Loadstar’s performance remained consistent throughout the year. Teams across its marine, fleet, and in-plant operations delivered dependable service to customers while maintaining efficiency and teamwork across all divisions. In November, Loadstar’s contributions to the state’s energy and marine economy were recognized with the company being named one of the inaugural Louisiana Energy Award finalists.

Reflecting on the year’s performance, Loadstar leadership described 2025 as a year of balance—steady progress built on a disciplined approach to operations, thoughtful growth, and investment in people. That formula, they noted, continues to guide Loadstar’s trajectory and reinforce its reputation for reliability within the industry.

Looking ahead, Loadstar plans to build on this year’s momentum with continued focus on sustainable growth and leadership development. Continued growth in both the marine and in-plant logistics services will remain a priority, alongside the company’s Evergreen commitment to long-term independence and generational continuity.

As 2026 approaches, Loadstar’s outlook remains centered on the same principles that have defined its success to date: safety, stability, and service. In a business built on enduring partnerships and shared trust, those values continue to steer the company forward — one year, and one transfer, at a time.
