‘Doc’ Sneed Golf Tournament

American Commercial Barge Line had a successful golf outing held for cancer research in memory of Darrell “Doc” Sneed who died in 2007 after a rare form of cancer. Doc was a long-time employee of ACBL who received care at Mercy Health Foundation in Baltimore, Md.

The tournament proved to be a wonderful day raising funds for cancer research while 105 golfers embarked on the course, watching a beautiful sunrise on September 14, 2018.

ACBL raised $8,514 for cancer research, with a running tab of approximately $73,000 going to cancer research.

Mark your calendars for the 2019 ACBL Doc Sneed Golf Tournament to be held on, September 13, 2019, at Champions Pointe in Henryville, Ind.
