New Self-Propelled Modular Transporter Announced

Transport Systems & Products Inc., which serves the specialized transportation, commercial and recreational marine industries, has introduced the Power Hoss self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT).

Manufactured in Germany by Scheuerle, this special version of the Scheuerle SPMT is designed for use in a variety of applications, including internal logistics, shipyard transport and shipbuilding, metallurgy, wind energy, aerospace and more.

Operating as an SPMT “light,” this series is by no means “light” in terms of functionality and payload, according to the company. The Power Hoss is a compact, self-propelled transporter that has an integrated drive unit of either diesel hydraulic or electric.
