CORBA Hosts Golf Outing

Neither less-than-ideal weather conditions nor the remnants of COVID could dampen the spirits of the participants of the seventh annual Central Ohio River Business Association (CORBA) golf outing.

Keeping in the tradition of playing on the Monday following the Masters Tournament, Aston Oaks Golf Club hosted 27 teams, representing 25 member companies. HEPACO sponsored this year’s winning team of Mike Doll, Jeff Zand, Jason Sitterle and Adam Pennington. An awards ceremony and reception followed the event.

CORBA’s success goes well beyond the popularity of the golf outing. Membership has steadily increased, now numbering 73 active company participants. CORBA has become a regional leader in the mid-Ohio region, working closely with OKI Regional Council of Governments, Inland Rivers, Ports and Terminals (IRPT), state departments of transportation and local economic development agencies to develop sustainable business opportunities, employment and growth.
