Turn Services To Host 15th Annual Golf Tournament
Turn Services will host its 15th annual Turn Services Golf Tournament September 17 in New Orleans.
The tournament will be held at the Bayou Oaks at City Park. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Past winners are encouraged to wear their orange jackets and to assist in the presentation of awards to this year’s winners.
Over the last seven years, the tournament has raised more than $580,000 for the children of Louisiana, Turn Services said in a statement.
This year’s tournament benefits Manning Family Children’s (formerly Children’s Hospital New Orleans), helping to advance and expand the behavioral and mental health programs for children at The Behavioral Health Center at Manning Family Children’s. The center is one of the nation’s largest and cares for both children and teens in crisis as well as those struggling with everyday mental health challenges. In 2024, the center had more than 2,080 inpatient stays with an average length of stay of 6.7 days and completed 14,000 outpatient visits.
Participants may register for the tournament online at www.turnservicesgolf.com. “Hang Out” tickets for those who would like to join the group from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and to listen to the band are also available.
Those interested in volunteering or making a donation may do so using the same form. Donations for ditty bags are greatly appreciated, the company said. Sponsorships at the gold and silver levels and sponsorships for breakfast, lunch and the band are also available.
