SIMCO Grain Terminal Progresses Near New Bridge Site The towboat Ajay pushing a deck barge and crane from Wayne B. Smith Inc. (WBS), which pours concrete into four steel piers for the SIMCO grain terminal in Pike County, Ill., before they were capped with welded steel plates. The pouring operation took a day. WBS also provided placement of the 42 D-rings on the mooring cells. The next step is building a loadout tower on top of the middle four cells, said Greg Dolbeare.
