Pushing Hope Tournament

This year’s Pushing Hope Annual Marine Industry Charity Tournament raised more than $141,500 for cancer research. The tournament, featuring softball, kickball and golf tournaments, in addition to a fun run, was held August 15–18 in Kirkwood, Mo. Organized by Ceres Consulting LLC, the event benefited the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center. In the seven years since Ceres has operated the pink hopper barge Big Hope I, more than $1.2 million has been raised for the charity.
