Bellaire Harbor Service Adds Mv. Mary B

Bellaire (Ohio) Harbor Service continues to add boats to its fleet, this time with the purchase of the mv. Mary B. The 50-foot, 750-hp. towboat was most recently owned by Evansville (Ind.) Marine Service. Built by Tucker Marine in 1975, it is powered by a pair of Cummins NTA855-M engines with Twin Disc gears.

“I’ve always liked Tucker boats,” said Bob Harrison, president and owner. “We’ll rehab it and use it around the harbor.”

Bellaire Harbor Service, now with 15 boats, provides harbor and fleeting services for 275 barges in the Pike Island and Hannibal pools, has portable barge unloading, does towing and shifting, and offers marine repairs with two 1,000-ton drydocks.
