On The Move: Zeb Duco-Moore, Dan Price

Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based Parker Towing Company has promoted Zebulon “Zeb” Duco-Moore to vice president of operations and senior port captain. In that role, Duco-Moore will oversee all river operations, including vessel operations and crews, maintenance and navigation.

Duco-Moore began his career with Parker Towing in September 2000 as a deckhand. By 2004, he was a pilot, and he then served as a relief captain until 2012. Duco-Moore returned to Parker Towing in 2018 as a port captain, and most recently served as senior port captain.

New Orleans-based Turn Services has hired Dan Price as port captain for the company’s Texas fleets. Price has more than five decades experience in the maritime industry. He started as a deckhand in 1974 and earned his tankerman’s license at 19. He later earned a master’s license and, during his career, has served as a captain, port captain, senior port captain, operations manager and vice president of maintenance and repair for various companies.
