WRDA Provision Allows Land Transfer For Eddyville Port Expansion

The Eddyville Riverport and Industrial Authority in Eddyville, Ky., is using a provision of the recently passed WRDA 2022 legislation to gain additional frontage along Lake Barkley, an impoundment of the Cumberland River in far western Kentucky. The boat ran aground outside the channel at Mile 62 on July 7. Passengers were deboarded using pontoon boats. Some crew members remain aboard.
